About the Role
The School of Languages is seeking highly qualified candidates to enhance our team. This role involves providing top-notch administrative and secretarial support to the Confucius Institute at Rhodes University.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and effective administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Confucius Institute.
- Collaborate closely with the Confucius Institute Director, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities.
- Engage and communicate with international colleagues and guests professionally, reflecting positively on the Confucius Institute and Rhodes University.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a Grade 12 qualification with approximately six months of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in an electronic administration environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining filing and administrative systems.
- Excellent command of the English language.
