JOB DESCRIPTION.:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Sales Channel Coordinator (Paid Media) to join their team in Midrand. The role involves collaborating with Category Buyers and Suppliers to efficiently plan, coordinate, and implement weekly online promotions, while ensuring that advertising is arranged for both print and digital media, and that all deadlines are met.
Minimum Qualifications.
Mandatory:
- Completion of Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Advertising or Promotions
- A tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the organization of weekly online promotions by identifying the most effective promotional offers that align with specific themes and trends.
- Procure heavily discounted deals from suppliers and buyers to feature in the weekly online promotions, ensuring compliance with promotional themes and adherence to all deadlines.
- Distribute marketing communications to inform all stakeholders about the promotions.
- Create a deal sheet, ensuring all offers receive Category approval, and once finalized, distribute to all relevant departments to guarantee successful execution of promotions.
- Maintain the accuracy and completeness of booking forms at all times.
- Ensure that all promotional products are listed online with appropriate images and adequate stock levels.
- Monitor sales results and assess the effectiveness of promotional offers across various categories.
- Provide post-promotion sales reports to buyers and suppliers.
- Responsible for sending sales data to Accounts for supplier billing.
- Ensure that all pertinent documents are stored on the appropriate shared drives.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
- Source advertising for both print and digital platforms in accordance with planned content, promotions, product launches, awareness campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, buyers, and co-departments regarding relevant marketing and advertising opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and targets.
- Compile booking forms, keep booking schedules updated and accurate, and coordinate with suppliers and advertising agencies to ensure timely submission of all marketing materials.
- Responsible for proofreading advertising materials to ensure compliance with approval processes and implementing any necessary amendments to artwork.
- Additionally, ensure that all pertinent documents are stored in the appropriate shared drives, and that products featured in digital publications are listed online.
- Create trackable UTM links for all product mentions and artwork, and provide post-campaign reports detailing the results of advertising activities to advertisers.
- Ensure that marketing billings by vendors and all other advertising activities are processed correctly.
- Implement best practice guidelines and adhere to company processes.
- Compile ad-hoc reports for management as needed, and stay informed about industry trends to contribute to both quantitative and qualitative research, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience and increase market share across digital and print platforms.
- Analyze all digital activities and formulate recommendations based on performance results and effectiveness in achieving business objectives.
- Utilize various web analytics tools to assess campaign performance, and act as the primary liaison between the marketing department and online department, master data, buyers, suppliers, and other internal departments.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with stakeholders involved in the inbound workflow concerning new and forthcoming tasks to efficiently integrate these into the existing schedule.
- Communicate effectively about marketing initiatives, requirements, and deadlines to both internal and external stakeholders as well as team members.
- Deliver evidence of campaign execution upon launch.
- Submit a comprehensive campaign report to suppliers at the conclusion of each campaign.
- Oversee the performance of digital marketing campaigns and inform the manager of any achievements or deficiencies.
- Ensure that the daily tracking document and all booking and financial schedules are updated on a daily basis.

Specific employment requirements include:
- South African citizenship,
- MIE verification with a clear criminal and credit record,
