Role Overview – Fixed-Term Cleaner

The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Hazeldean store. You will ensure that all areas, including the shop floor, stockroom, dispensary, administrative office, and canteen, are clean, organized, and safe for both staff and customers.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety standards, and the ability to perform routine cleaning tasks efficiently during retail operational hours. The contract is fixed-term, providing valuable hands-on experience in a structured retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

The fixed-term cleaners needed for this position will be expected to perform a variety of duties, including:

1. Maintain Cleanliness Across All Store Areas
   • Keep the shop floor, dispensary, stockroom, administrative offices, and canteen clean and tidy.
   • Perform cleaning before store opening, during operational hours, and after closing.
2. Restroom and Canteen Maintenance
   • Ensure restrooms are sanitized, fully stocked with essential products, and presentable at all times.
   • Maintain the canteen area, including cleaning tables, floors, and ensuring supplies are replenished.
3. Use of Cleaning Equipment & Products
   • Properly handle cleaning chemicals, detergents, and equipment.

Minimum Requirements
