About the Position

Job Title: Marketing Intern
Department: PCG – Luxury Cosmetic Brands
Reporting To: Marketing Manager

The primary objective of this marketing internship is to assist the Brand Manager in growing Prestige Cosmetics Group’s brand presence in South Africa. The intern will support all local marketing initiatives using A&P investment tools, adapt international strategies for the local market, and ensure a comprehensive 360-degree approach that enhances brand visibility and strengthens market share.

Key Responsibilities

Brand and Business Performance

Collaborate with the Brand Manager to maintain the integrity and equity of the brand in South Africa.
Adapt global brand strategies to local market conditions, ensuring alignment with retailer expectations.
Participate in seasonal strategy meetings with senior management and retailers.
Monitor business performance and report on sales, inventory levels, and SKU performance.
Support the launch of new products, including stock tracking, demand planning, and coordination with sales teams.
Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, and target audience trends to inform brand decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize brand visibility.
Assist in planning and executing public relations activities, including monitoring and reporting on media coverage.
Provide customer and consumer support to ensure a positive brand experience.

Marketing and Brand Support

Assist in inventory assessment and reporting, including monthly brand performance tracking.
Help maintain accurate records of retailer purchase plans, marketing calendars, and price adjustments.
