Job Description.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure that all sales are recorded accurately and efficiently on the registers
- Package purchased items in shopping bags
- Deliver cash drops to a superior for security purposes
- Conduct daily cash reconciliations
- Remain vigilant of suspicious customers
- Stay informed about all promotional products available for sale
- Issue gift cards, verify customers’ reward cards, and redeem points
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area
- Engage in ongoing stock assessments
- Execute any work-related tasks as assigned by a superior
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matriculation or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable position
- Completion of the Brights Induction (service excellence)
- A clear credit history
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Awareness and vigilance
- Capacity to perform under pressure
- Numerical proficiency
- Ability to collaborate within a team as well as work independently with minimal oversight
- Outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple tasks
