The company boasts a varied workforce with a robust engineering skill set. We are currently in search of an Electrician to join our team and assist in upholding the high standards our clients anticipate.
The successful applicant will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of [specify equipment or systems].
- Diagnose issues and perform repairs in an efficient and safe manner.
- Communicate with customers to ensure clarity regarding service concerns and solutions.
- Keep tools, equipment, and the work area organized and clean.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards consistently.
- Certified/Trade tested Electrician (Red Seal).
- N4 Certificate in Engineering Heavy Current or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-trade test experience in the electrical engineering sector.
- Proficient in installing and programming Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
- Skilled in troubleshooting to at least the PLC input/output card level.
- Capable of interpreting, reading, and understanding electrical schematics.
- Experienced in leading a team of semi-skilled workers, apprentices, or other personnel.
- Background in the HVAC industry.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Qualified fitter or Millwright.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Welding experience advantageous.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- Experience in engineering field either HVAC / ventilation / fans or applications is advantageous.
- Drivers license essential.
