Are you passionate about beauty and customer service? Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a dedicated Cosmetics Consultant to join our team at the Cosmetic Consultant store. Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Experience in retail as a sales consultant
- Proficient in computer skills
- Flexibility to work retail hours

Job Description:
- Escalate Unresolved Customer Complaints: Promptly bring any serious and unresolved customer issues to the attention of the manager.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure a high standard of care and service to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Product Demonstrations: Showcase products through makeovers, cosmetic demonstrations, and promotional activities such as spray promotions.
- Stock Management: Maintain stock levels in line with Dis-Chem procedures. Report issues such as shortages, damages, or expired stock to the manager.
- Attractive Merchandising: Set up visually appealing displays to attract and engage customers.
- Sales Maximization: Boost store revenue by meeting or exceeding sales targets for departments, brands, and vendors.
- Stay Updated: Keep informed about the latest products, brands, and trends in the retail and cosmetics industry.
- Promotion Management: Oversee promotions for cosmetics, fragrances, and beauty house events.
- Salon Appointment Coordination: Efficiently manage salon appointments to ensure smooth operations.
- Policy Adherence: Strictly follow Dis-Chem policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and health and safety regulations.
Key Competencies:
- English Proficiency: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Outstanding Customer Service: Dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
- Analytical Skills: Understanding of stock reports and the ability to calculate sales targets and commissions.
- Task Management: Ability to work efficiently according to a set task schedule.
