Understanding the Corporate Support Internship in Johannesburg.
What is a Corporate Support Internship?
A corporate support internship is a training program designed to provide insight into the operational aspects of a company’s support functions. These internships typically involve responsibilities such as managing schedules, preparing reports, organizing meetings, and liaising with clients. In essence, it is about ensuring the smooth operation of the business behind the scenes.
In contrast to marketing or finance internships, corporate support roles emphasize administrative duties, project coordination, and business operations. This type of internship is ideal for those interested in understanding how organizations operate and acquiring essential workplace skills. Interns frequently have the opportunity to collaborate closely with managers and gain knowledge about corporate governance, customer service, and teamwork.

Identify opportunities: Utilize university career services, online job boards, and corporate websites.
