Job Title: Building Manager

Position Overview

As a Building Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our facility, ensuring that all buildings, grounds, and equipment are maintained in top condition. You will be responsible for developing budgets and implementing departmental policies that comply with health and safety regulations. You’ll also ensure that all purchased services meet our quality standards, aligning with procurement policies. Keeping senior management informed of activities and potential issues will be a key part of your role, alongside training and guiding your team to achieve operational excellence.

  • Operations Management: Lead the effective operations and management of building and facility services.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure all facilities are in satisfactory condition.

  8. Repair Management: Conduct necessary repairs or, if needed, advise the Operations Manager for contractor intervention.
  9. Daily Maintenance Issues: Identify and report daily maintenance issues, communicating with the Operations Manager to schedule the necessary work.
  10. Professional Business Relations: Cultivate positive relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and trade professionals to support the company’s operations.
  11. Vendor and Contractor Interaction: Maintain productive relations with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, acting as a conduit between them and the company.
  12. Information Coordination: Ensure effective coordination and exchange of information between external services and company operations.
  13. Company Image and Goodwill: Promote a positive image of the company and enhance goodwill in all external interactions.
  14. Invoice Processing: Follow up on invoices for payment processing to ensure timely financial transactions.
